Purchase Clare McCullough’s single, “This Body Ain’t Mine” below from bandcamp, which has been featured in Breaking and Entering and on Bublr Bike’s Weekly Jams. She has also been featured in the upcoming #iVoted Festival Lineup as seen in Variety Magazine and in fellow Milwaukee Musician Cullah’s podcast, Cullahcast.

In June, Clare McCullough will be making some 7″ records with @leestavall as part of their Direct-To-Vinyl Live Sessions project. This is a super cool concept and Clare is so pumped and honored to be a part of it. Here are the deets:

When you order one, you choose your song, Clare McCullough will perform it live as the record’s cut in real-time, and then you’ll be the only owner of that particular live performance, ever, in the world, for all time!  Each take of a song is unique per vinyl, so if 3 people order the same song that’s 3 different records! You’ll have a completely one-of-a-kind record to play on your cool record players (or, if you don’t have a record player, to keep on a shelf knowing you’re cool and have something no one else has 🙃). It’s preorder only so click here! It’d mean the world to me if you get one and let me sing something special for you!

A few months before graduating from Marquette University, Clare McCullough picked up the guitar in earnest for the first time. She had spent a majority of her Sundays growing up, walking to the nice neighborhood lady’s house who taught piano. There, she plinked out tunes from hot cross buns to Beethoven. Now, as a fully formed adult, she yearned for something to fill the time that only a underachieving (but still graduating) college student had. Thus was the beginning of her music career.

Now, she plays shows across Milwaukee in her folk-pop style, occasionally with rock and bluesy bents. One day she hopes to play in every major city in America and to one day release an album that she can be proud of. Until then, she will be working hard on releasing her music, song by song if she has to to achieve that goal.
